That story, and that male friendship, it runs throughout the story, and you fall in love. Not with Sherlock Holmes, who’s a difficult man. Not with Doctor Watson, who oddly enough can be a difficult man too. A sort of washed up war hero, but with the fact that they adore each other. These two extraordinary, brilliant opposites, who have a simple uncomplicated mutual affection that happened instantly, and remained unchanged over decades, and was never discussed at all.

Well, obviously, we have a bomber in central London. He’s walkin’ in yo’ swimming pools, snatching yo’ boyfriend up, trying to kill ‘im, so y’all need to hide yo’ Lestrades, hide yo’ Watsons and hide yo’ Hudsons, cuz he blowing up e’rrbody out there.

(But in all seriousness though - Moriarty manipulates our poor Molly, helps other criminals, scares the shit out of our poor John (probrably Sherlock too), straps people to bombs then proceeds to blow them up, probably terrorizes everyone just because he feels like it, rewards other people to kill other people, and so basically … I think I’d stick with my life, thanks.)

Sure … he might not play the most likeable character on the show, but without Anderson, how else would Sherlock have delivered those fantastic quotes in the first episode? Think about that. (And would you just listen to this mans voice? I could listen to that all day.)
